What information we collect

When you place an order or sign up for the newsletter, we collect basic information like your name, email address, shipping address, and phone number. This information is collected and stored securely through Squarespace, the platform that powers rainydayforge.ca.

We do not store your payment information. All transactions are processed securely through Squarespace's built-in payment system.

Like most websites, rainydayforge.ca also collects anonymous data through cookies — things like which pages you visit and how long you spend on them. This helps us understand how people use the site so we can improve it.

How we use your information

We use your information to process and ship your orders, send order confirmations and updates, and occasionally reach out with newsletters, new products, sales, and events. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.

International customers

Rainy Day Forge ships internationally and may collect personal information from customers outside of Canada. By placing an order or signing up for the newsletter, you consent to your information being stored and processed in Canada.

Third party services

Our site uses Facebook Pixel for advertising purposes. This means Facebook may collect data about your visit to rainydayforge.ca in accordance with their own privacy policy. You can opt out of Facebook's data collection through your Facebook account settings.

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to manage and send our newsletter and promotional emails. When you sign up for the RDF newsletter, your email address and name are stored in Brevo. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, and your data can be removed upon request.

We also use Instagram and Facebook to showcase our work. Any interactions you have on those platforms are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Just email justin@rainydayforge.ca and we'll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top.
