Cisco - MTO
Handmade Full Tang EDC Knife | 1084 Carbon Steel | Rainy Day Forge
Design
The Cisco is the piece your everyday carry has been missing.
Whether you’re navigating an urban setting or you’re pushing into the backcountry, don’t get caught with a flimsy folder. When reliability matters, you need a knife built for real use.
Designed and handcrafted in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the RDF Cisco blends a minimalist design with uncompromising strength. This fixed blade moves seamlessly between daily tasks and demanding outdoor use.
At 7.5 inches overall, the Cisco is compact enough for daily carry yet robust enough for hard use. Inspired by the resilience of the North American fish it’s named after, this knife is built to perform, day in, day out.
Weighing just 130g, it keeps you light, fast, and ready for anything. From work to trail to camp, the Cisco works with you, not against you.
Choose from a range of handle materials to make it uniquely yours, because your gear should stand out as much as it performs.
Best for: Everyday carry, utility tasks, hiking, and camp use. Compact enough for urban environments, tough enough for the field.
Blade
The Cisco Knife comes to you in tough 1084 carbon steel. Etched and then stone-washed to produce a more resilient finish. The blade is hand-ground with flat grinds and heat-treated for optimal edge retention and toughness. Other steels are available upon request.
Blade length: 3.5” or 89mm. Spine thickness: 1/8” or 3 mm.
Handle
The handle is available in a variety of materials, including G10, GripTec, Micarta, Hardwoods and stabilized woods. They are finished by hand.
Pins and liners can also be selected from several materials and colours (G10 and Micarta). The rear pin is a lanyard hole.
Weight: 130g
The Cisco comes with a leather pocket sheath.
